About the Author
Design firm Sims Hilditch has become synonymous with a fresh approach to the country-house look, a style that is classic and comfortable but also highly relevant to the shift in the way many people are now living. While this aesthetic runs through all their projects, the team comes to every commission with an open mind, ready to respond to the setting and architecture and create something original for each client. Founder and creative director Emma Sims-Hilditch formally launched Sims Hilditch in 2009, using the skills she honed through her previous career in film production for Ridley Scott. Today, she heads an expert team comprising interior designers, interior architects, and project managers working on projects from a Grade-II listed building in Wiltshire to an elegant London town house. Giles Kime is the interiors editor of Country Life magazine. He authored Rizzoli's Nina Campbell Interior Decoration (Fall 2018). Simon Brown is a renowned interior, still life, and portrait photographer based in London. For over thirty years his work has been published in books and magazines, and his personal work is represented by the Benrubi Gallery in New York. His work has been published in The World of Interiors, Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest, The Saturday Telegraph, ID, and Vogue. Clients include Colefax and Fowler, De Gournay, Nicky Haslam, Beata Heuman, Kit Kemp and Firmdale Hotels, Nina Campbell, Soho House, The Ned, Sotheby's, and Hardie Grant. Kit Kemp MBE, is a British interior designer, and founder of Firmdale Hotels, a collection of ten hotels in London and New York.
