About the Author
Buying old Ford Escorts has been an addiction for Dan Williamson since getting his first Mk1 while aged just 15. His subsequent career as a motoring journalist started in 1997, covering new cars, classics, and performance machines, for magazines including Fast Ford and Practical Classics. But those rear-wheel-drive Escorts remain closest to his heart, and this is his third book on the subject. Dan is an AVO Owners' Club member with a collection of sporty Fords, including a Mexico, a 1600 Sport, and a Mk1 that's the focus of a Cosworth YB engine conversion.
