Description

Legendary heroes battle the undead and dark sorcery, in the first of a rip-roaring new series for the fan-favorite epic fantasy game, Descent.

When the Baroness of Forthyn's daughter disappears, she calls on the legendary orc hero, Durik, to find her. Durik enlists his old questing partners - the dwarf alchemist, Ulma Grimstone, and roguish Logan Lashley - in the hopes of reliving their glory days. Together they journey to fearstruck Fallowhearth. There, instead of clues, they uncover necromancy: graveyards emptied of corpses, with trails of footprints leading into sinister Blind Muir Forest... But the forest holds more than just the walking dead: between its boughs lurk treachery, a sorcerous ally turned to darkness, and a shocking infestation of giant, murderous monsters.

"Masterful."

* Shadowhawk's Shade *
"Expertly-written and populated with some of the most memorable characters in a fantasy novel that I've read in quite some time, and imbued with a bold, thought-provoking and often surprising narrative, with an emotionally powerful ending that's akin to a fist in the gut." -- SciFi and Fantasy Reviewer
"Page-turningly addictive... It's quite dark and surprisingly powerful, and a far more emotional story (no spoilers) than you might expect. Very much worth checking out." -- Track of Words
"The Doom of Fallowhearth is a good, dark, Fantasy story... Even if you have no other reason to do so, The Doom of Fallowhearth is worth reading, just for the opportunity to find yourself rooting for the Necromancer!" -- Fistful of Meeples
"You pick it up and start it thinking it's gonna be just a pulpy fantasy adventure. But it's not, it's deeply emotional and shows that a good writer and make a familiar and well trod genre, fresh and invigorating. Solid ?????." -- Big Geordie Geek

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
