Reviews
Mary C. Clement has truly written the definitive guide for becoming a teacher and getting the job. Her book covers the process soup-to-nuts and is a valuable resource for high school students, college students, and even mid-career changers. Those who read her book will have an advantage in the job search process and will increase their chances of landing their dream job! -- Brent Spodak, CEO, Teachers-Teachers.com
This book is another excellent example of the Mary Clement approach to writing. It is easy to read because the flow of the information is logical and well presented. It is almost like Mary Clement is having a one-on one conversation with the reader. In this day of highly technical books using lots of education jargon, it is refreshing to read a book that is so simple and useful. I thoroughly enjoyed Mary's latest edition to educational literature. She is always finding ways to help students find insights and meaning in their learning. This book has the appropriate length, it is presented logically, and it is written in a style that can be digested by the target audience. Candidates looking for work in the education field will benefit greatly by reading and using this book. -- Michael P. Wolfe, executive director emeritus, Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education
Quite exhaustive is the best way to explain this book that would be very valuable for any teacher looking for a job. The subjects even include jobs for substitute teachers, teaching in a community college, and in a private school. The book is very practical and the author does not pull any punches including telling you want to say and not to say and what to wear and not wear. -- Dr. Harry K. Wong, Harry K.
