Description

We know our children are special, and now, the incomparable Nancy Tillman expresses this universal feeling in the most touching of ways: Every child is born with a crown. The crown is everything that gives us unique value. Our crown will always be with us wherever we go, whatever we do. The Crown on Your Head is a perfect gift for baby showers, graduation, and for any other occasion to tell dear ones that they are loved.

Bestseller Nancy Tillman is the jewel in our crown. Now, her beautiful book about what makes every child special is available in board book.

About the Author
Nancy Tillman is the author and illustrator of the "New York Times"-bestselling picture book, "On the Night You Were Born"; its companion journal, "The Wonder of You;" "The Spirit of Christmas"; "Wherever You Are, My Love Will Find You" (also a "New York Times" bestseller); "The Crown on Your Head" and "I'd Know You Anywhere, My Love." She also created the mischievous cat Tumford in "Tumford the Terrible" and "Tumford's Rude Noises," and illustrated "It's Time to Sleep, My Love" by Eric Metaxas. Nancy lives in Portland, Oregon.

Reviews
...this is soothing, visually attractive, and makes for a comforting bedtime read-aloud. "Booklist" Tillman adds another dreamy volume to her collection of self-esteem-building titles. "School Library Journal" Parents and grandparents will love to read this aloud to their little ones... "Kirkus Reviews" There's something magical about the idea of intimacy with wild animals; spreads in which Tillman imagines such interactions, like the cover image of the child asleep astride a zebra, have special power, especially as they're rendered with photograph-like verisimilitude. "Publishers Weekly" Nancy Tillman returns to the theme that she celebrated in her poetic essay book "On the Night You Were Born"--every child is special and beloved. While the re-iterated affirmations on each page may seem a bit much for the less sentimental types, there is no question that Tillman's message is one that young children need to hear. The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
