About the Author
Kelly Doust has been making and reinventing things in her own trial-and-error way since she was a girl, and scouring flea markets and charity shops for recycled fashion and homewares from her early teens. For the better part of a decade, she worked in book publishing and public relations in Sydney, Hong Kong and London, and as a freelance writer on the side. She was a regular contributor to Vogue magazine, with her essays and articles appearing in Dazed & Confused, The South China Morning Post's Lifestyle section and various other magazines and newspapers in Australia, Hong Kong and the UK. Her short stories and poetry have also been published in a number of collections.
