About the Author
Edith Holden (1871-1920) was a British artist and teacher. In 1906, she recorded her observations about the countryside and seasons around her in an illustrated diary, full of exquisite watercolour paintings. In 1977, her journal was re-discovered and published as The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.
