Description

A paper-based beginner-friendly workbook for students that teaches how to build a website - without the use of a computer. This is the perfect book for any beginner who finds it easier to engage with paper than with code on a computer screen. Also perfect for classrooms in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas that lack multiple computers or even reasonable Internet access. Numerous students can work simultaneously from this workbook then try their code on a shared computer either in the classroom or at home.

A paper-based, beginner-friendly, coloring-book-like workbook for students that teaches how to code a website--without the use of a computer. Perfect for classrooms in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas that may lack multiple computers or even reasonable Internet access.

About the Author
Sam Taylor, M. Ed is a Technical Curriculum Developer and education advocate in the Bay Area. These tutorials blossomed into The Coding Workbook. Sam lives in the Bay Area with her partner and their plants.

Reviews
"It's a great workbook, and basically teaches people how to code without having to have a computer . . . it would be a great tool for people who don't have acess to a computer."
-Sister Codes Podcast

"A book you could actually hand to a kid and they could actually go through it . . . a workbook."
-Kathy Nelson, Ordinarily Extraordinary Podcast

"This workbook is everything you need to start coding, even without access to a computer. Sam took this complex, powerful skill and broke it down in ways that make it exciting and easy to learn. It is so organized and easy to understand, making it simple to follow along and apply the skills! The examples, practice activities, and self-checks are all engaging and relevant. I would recommend this to anyone who is learning to code and encourage educators to share this with their students (at any age!)."
-Danielle Feeney, PhD, Assistant Professor of Instruction, Ohio University

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
