Philip Pullman is one of the most famous children's writers in the world today. He is the acclaimed author of novels, short stories and plays for readers of all ages. He has received many accolades and awards for his books for children. The first volume of the His Dark Materials trilogy, Northern Lights, won the 1996 Carnegie Medal, the Guardian Children's Fiction Award and the British Book Award. The final part of the trilogy, The Amber Spyglass, won both the Whitbread Children's Book of the Year and the main Whitbread Book of the Year awards. The Firework Maker's Daughter won the Smarties Gold Award and Clockwork was shortlisted for both the Whitbread Children's Book of the Year, and the Carnegie Medal. He lives in Oxford.

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
