Description

This crisp, clear summary provides a handy reference tool enabling the reader to see how the Bible fits together. Despite its many authors and vast time frame, there is a core narrative that runs throughout the text. Each of the fifteen chapters focuses on a key theme, taking the reader progressively from Genesis to Revelation. Chapter One covers Genesis 1-11: God has deliberately made us to be creatures dependent on their Creator. Adam and Eve rebelled against His rule, as did Cain. Abel, Seth and Noah submitted to it. This is the big picture of displayed in the Bible: Will you try to be your own god or will you serve the Creator God? The author's style is punchy and engaging and the text is fast-paced and succinct. It is sure to be a hit with readers keen to get to grips with the wider narrative of the Bible.

15 short chapters on the main narratives and the central teachings, showing how the whole relates to Christ.

Reviews
"Phil Moore has very capably distilled the essence of the Scriptures. If you want to get a grip on the Bible, this is a great place to start." -- Dr R T Kendall
"I enjoy reading Phil Moore's books. He writes about Jesus and the Christian life with perception, wisdom and wit." -- Nicky Gumbel
"The Bible is an amazing and wonderful book, but where do you start reading such a huge tome? Melvin Bragg says that the Bible is `the most influential book there has ever been in the history of language.' Allow Phil to take you into its story and show you what it's all about. You won't regret it." -- Terry Virgo, Founder, Newfrontiers
"Bold, fresh, fast-moving, relevant and often controversial, The Bible in 100 Pages gives you the best of Phil Moore, and the best of the Bible. An excellent resource for anyone wanting to get their heads round the biblical story." -- Andrew Wilson, author of `If God, Then What?'
"Phil provides a fascinatingly helpful key to opening what is still for very good reasons the biggest selling book in the world but for some the most daunting....I thoroughly recommend it." -- Sandy Millar, co-founder of the Alpha Course
"For most people the Bible is a dark forest of fictional fables to get lost in. Think again! Here's a reliable guide, map and compass, so you won't miss the wood for the trees, but emerge to see the whole world very differently." -- Greg Haslam,Senior Pastor, Westminster Chapel, London

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
