About the Author

David Betancourt is a reporter and four-time Eisner Award nominee who writes about all aspects of comic book culture for The Washington Post and has written multiple Miles Morales/Spider-Man stories for Marvel Comics and Marvel Publishing. He teaches classes in comic book culture in film and media as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland. David lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, three children, and their two dogs, Luna and Vera.

Bex Glendining is a UK based illustrator, comic artist and colourist. Bex has worked as a cover artist, colourist and interior artist on projects such as Seen: Edmonia Lewis, Penultimate Quest, Rolled & Told, Lupina and multiple covers for Penguin Random House. When not working they can usually be found building gundams, playing video games with friends or buying new plants.

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
