About the Author
MATT PEALE has always loved playing sports and working out. He has played almost every sport on a recreational or competitive level since first grade and began doing pull-ups and push-ups in his room in eighth grade. Matt played soccer at Mandeville High School in Mandeville, Louisiana, before playing two years at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned his bachelor of science degree in marketing in 1997. After working in sales, Matt found his way into the fitness industry in 2008 as a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness in Laguna Hills, California. His journey led him back to Mississippi in 2011 and back to his high-school home in 2015. Over the years, Matt has spoken at healthy-lifestyle events, conducted professional-development seminars, and briefly hosted a talk show on a local New Orleans-area digital platform. As a loyal member of the Who Dat Nation, Matt never misses a Saints game, watching in person or on TV. He dreams of attending the World Cup one day and traveling to every continent.
