Furudate's first series, Kiben Gakuha, Yotsuya Senpai no Kaidan, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2010. In 2011, Furudate submitted the one-shot for the hit manga series Haikyu!!, which began serialization in 2012 and concluded in 2020. Haikyu!! continues to be popular around the world.
