Description

The Art of Getting Lost will illuminate the details of dream trips, and inspiring readers to understand that adventure is not out of reach. Most of us face a couple of obstacles when it comes to living our Walter Mitty-esque adventure dreams: ideas of what to do, and concrete knowledge of how long those ideas will take. It's a long way from talking to some guy at the bar about his Grand Canyon Raft trip to going home and Googling a synopsis of how to make it happen, and then clicking around a guide company's website to find out if it takes three days or 30. But it won't be hard to flip through this book and get inspired.

About the Author
Brendan Leonard has bicycled across America, spent a month rafting through the Grand Canyon, bicycled across Norway's Lofoten Islands, trekked Italy's Alta Via routes, hiked the original Haute Route, traversed Wyoming's Wind River Range and Colorado's Sangre de Cristo Range by foot, climbed big walls in Zion National Park, skied off the summits of peaks in Colorado, Washington, and Switzerland, and has never been without a full-time job since he finished graduate school in 2004. His website, Semi-Rad.com, reaches half a million unique readers each year with stories about the everyman's and everywoman's adventure. He makes a living as a full-time freelance creative, writing articles and books, producing and directing short films, and developing advertising content. His editorial work has appeared in Alpinist, CNN, Outside, Men's Journal, National Geographic Adventure, Backpacker, Adventure Cyclist and dozens of other publications. He is a contributing editor at Adventure Journal and The Dirtbag Diaries podcast, and is a former contributing editor at Climbing Magazine.

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
