All Calum wants is a quiet life, but the past is haunting him. He and his mother Mary still don't talk about the death of his younger brother Finn, more than twenty years ago. Reviews

'Wry and humane...'

'Hooking its readers early and not letting go until the very end, The Angel In The Stone, even at its darkest, is shot through with glimmers of optimism and humanity...'

'The Angel in the Stone is just as beautifully written...The Angel in the Stone is a powerful story showing how the past comes with us into our the present day.'

'Incredible, beautifully written, laughed, cried & couldn't put it down!'

'... wonderful characters and setting. Highly recommend.'

'This book shows a huge amount of promise. Essentially, it is about modern Scotland, moving seamlessly between Lowland, Highland and Island life. The author shows real empathy and understanding of her characters, tackling some weighty current issues (such as mental health and Alzheimer's disease) with eloquence, insight and dignity.'

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
