Dorothy K. Washburn is a visiting scholar at the University of Arizona. She lives in Titusville, New Jersey. Donald W. Crowe is professor emeritus of mathematics, University of Wisconsin. Their book Symmetries of Culture received the George Wittenborn Book Award.
