About the Author

Richard Shusterman is Professor of Philosophy at Temple University and the College International de Philosophie. His books include Performing Live: Aesthetic Alternatives for the Ends of Art (also from Cornell), Pragmatist Aesthetics, and Practicing Philosophy.
