About the Author

Kate Thompson spent much of her childhood with her nose in books, immersed in literary adventures. After a brief stint as a solicitor, Kate rediscovered her love of picture books, and now spends her days living on the south coast gleefully immersed in literary adventures of her own making.

Clare Elsom is a children's illustrator and author. She is the creator of young fiction series Horace & Harriet, and has illustrated dozens of other children's books.
