Reviews
[Rick Broadbent] shares the inspirational stories of 20 sports legends who have "changed the world for the better" in an easy format designed to appeal to kids who'd rather do anything but read. [...] Uplifting. -- Lucy Bannerman * The TImes *
Each athlete's story is presented with a perfect blend of captivating facts and vibrant illustrations, making it engaging and accessible for children. Readers will be enthralled by the incredible journeys and accomplishments of these sports stars, ranging from their early lives to their ground-breaking achievements... This positive and uplifting book is a must-have for every school library, showcasing the incredible potential within us all. * Editor's Pick, The School Librarian *
Each of the sports men and women featured in the book has a super sport power which we are told about, and that is fascinating in itself, but more than that each of them has done amazing things in their sport and changed the world for the rest of us. * Armadillo Magazine *
Inspiring and informative, I can think of many readers who will find this the perfect book. The illustrations are brilliant and the layout of each double page spread is colourful, full of facts and pleasing to the eye. * My Shelves Are Full *
It's easy to see how creatively this could be used in the classroom but, equally, there's plenty here for discussion at home between children and parents who share a love for sport and might come initially to the book for that reason and stay to talk about the wider issues. [...] This is an engaging and creative way into the subject of activism and social change. * The Letterpress Project *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
