Reviews
"This is one of the most engaging and student-friendly books in the area of HRM. A variety of up-to-date learning activities and practical insights combined with the use of evidence-based research are core to the development of future HR professionals." * Dr. Anastasia Kulichyova,, Lecturer in HRM,, Manchester Metropolitan University *
"An important overview which skilfully considers the contemporary HRM environment and essential people management topics with practical examples. Relevant to the first-time student of HRM or the experienced practitioner, this edition provides accessible and useful guidance that can be implemented immediately into study and practice. Expertly commentated and written with the reader in mind, this is a gift for all who study HRM." * Hannah Newbury, Lecturer in HRM, University of Plymouth *
"This user friendly text book provides an easy to follow introduction to a range of core HR themes and principles and what it is like to work within the HR profession. Clear reference lists and 'explore further' resources support students to extend their study beyond the text book itself and regular case studies bring the theory to life. The Chapter on research and evidence practice in HRM provides an excellent insight into how students can evaluate the data and information they use to help with their academic study and decision making in the workplace. The clear layout enables students to read through each chapter in turn or to 'dip into' key sections as needed making it a valuable addition to the bookshelf for students and new practitioners alike." * Sheena Bevitt, Senior Lecturer in HRM, University of Derby *
"This textbook is essential reading for students of People Management, in particular those studying CIPD's Associate Diploma in People Management or undergraduate degrees. It is well written and provides a balance between theoretical concepts and models and practice. This new edition, updated to align with CIPD's new qualifications will be invaluable to students, especially when used in conjunction with its companion text, Human Resource Management: People and organisations." * Nicky Small, CIPD lecturer, Solihull College and University Centre *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
