About the Author
Tom and Mairi share a historic house with John Chiesley, aka the ghost Johnny One- Arm. John was a nobleman who killed a judge and swung for it - minus the hand that held the pistol. Now he slams doors and knocks over pots of ink (or so Tom claims). Tom illustrates with a dip-pen, black ink and digital colour, and has worked for MacMillan, Hachette and Amnesty International. Mairi's career has been devoted to writing and publishing in English and Gaelic. Tom is quite new to Scotland and has enjoyed discovering its fascinating and occasionally gory history and culture.

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
