In developed countries many families live in poverty and other vulnerable conditions, having low quality of life and suffering from social exclusion. This constitutes a major social, political and citizenship concern, which stresses the reformulation and rethinking of the support and actions towards improving these families quality of life in all levels: macro - national and international policies; meso -- institutions organisation and support programs; micro - communities, professionals and citizens.
