Description

Stink turns super sleuth in an adventure that honours classic superheroes and mystery-solving.

At a Moody family yard sale, Stink uncovers a box of old comics about a hero he's never heard of: Super Gecko. What could be more fantastic than a superhero with lizard superpowers? Hello, fun! Even better, Super Gecko is making a comeback, and Stink quickly becomes his number-one fan. Stink starts receiving mysterious notes signed by Super Gecko himself. But Super Gecko isn't real, is he? Using his own powers of deduction - thanks to all the cool stuff he's learning at Saturday Science Club - can Stink figure out who is writing the letters?

Reviews
I love the gentle humour, the endearing characters and the mix of sleuthing and science; so too will young solo readers and listeners whether or not they have already met Stink et al. * Red Reading Hub *
I strongly recommend this up-beat story and dearly hope that it might inspire a clamour for comics as an essential part of literature and cultural history and lead to more children finding out about geckos, visiting comic bookstores, creating comics and even founding a Science club that looks at superheroes. * The Letterpress Project *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
