About the Author
David Mahlowe, born 1928, actor, and writer, worked in theatre, film, radio and TV. He presented for ABC in the North and Tempo, the first commercial TV arts magazine programme. On Ulster TV's By This I Live in the late 1960s he was a respected interviewer, compared to Malcolm Muggeridge and Bernard Levin in 'the delicate art of TV confrontation'. Literary executor of the artist Eugene Halliday, with whom he had written Shakespeare King Educator, he founded the Melchisedec Press to publish Halliday's writings. A short illness led to his early death in 1998.
Reviews
'One of the big challenges facing any new presentation of spiritual ideas is whether these will speak to the next generation of interested individuals who were never in the presence of the teacher. When reading these talks of David Mahlowe, something deep inside me was touched. Here is a fellow seeker who is able to communicate how this search has moved him in the depths of his being. By the end of the talks his transformation is self-evident and provides an inspiration for all those who would follow.' Martin Walsh
