Description
The second installment in the shape trilogy from the dynamic dream-team of Jon Klassen and Mac Barnett.
"A typically original delight" Daily Mail
Every day, Square brings a block out of his cave and pushes it up a steep hill. This is his work. When Circle floats by, she declares Square a genius, a sculptor! "This is a wonderful statue," she says. "It looks just like you!" But now Circle wants a sculpture of her own, a circle! Will the genius manage to create one? Even accidentally?

Reviews
"Expert wry humour and striking graphics" * The Bookseller *
"A board book on the outside - albeit with a minimalist jacket and stylishly curved corners - open it up and Square is beguiling, simple and amusing. [...] Inquisitive, witty an framed by peppermint-green and soft inky scribbles, awash with intelligence and depth, it's just lovely." * Women's Way Ireland *
"Inquisitive, witty and framed by peppermint-green and softy inky scribbles, awash with intelligence and depth, it's just lovely!" * Press Association *
"Barnett and Klassen are a perfect team to deliver a smart and funny book that manages to have sophisticated connotations about the creation, intention and reception of art, as well as reassuring children about their own artistic development." * BookTrust *
"This sequel to the award- winning author/illustrator team's equally offbeat Triangle is a typically original delight, full of minimalist images, dry humour and an undercurrent of philosophical debate." * The Daily Mail *
