Description

Following the destruction of the Body Holiday Foundation, the extraordinary life story of telepath Milla Carter continues in Derek E Pearson's Soul's Asylum trilogy. Now, the adventures conclude in this volume. Iapetus in Saturn's orbit: Antisoc Outer has been destroyed and now the intelligent gas creature, the Swarm, is tightening its grip on the solar system. Iapetus Sector Manager 'The Padre' and his lover, Laura Bradley, are working with two super intelligent AIs in a desperate bid to find a way to stop the Swarm's relentless progress. If they fail their only hope is for everyone in Saturn's proximity to flee in a motley fleet of refugee spaceships. Milla Carter and her friends know there is no escape from the cloud beast. Mankind's only hope is to destroy it before it snuffs OUT every soul on Earth. But there seems TO BE no defence against its immense power.

About the Author
Derek E Pearson is a prolific writer of novels, with three series to his name as well as other works published or in progress since his debut in 2014. An art school graduate, Pearson is a witty, fun and unusual character in that he 'lives' his stories, hence the amazing output. In conversation he'll tell what it's like to merrily 'swim' in his extraordinary worlds alongside the highly-charged characters he creates and adores.

Reviews
The Sun: The opening volume in the Soul's Asylum trilogy "is a weird, vivid and creepy book, not for the faint hearted. But its originality and top writing make for a great read." Novel Awarded FOUR STARS. Surrey Life: in the Body Holiday trilogy (prequel to Soul's Asylum) "Pearson's galactic-sized imagination delivers, with veiled gallows humour, a compelling image of a chic, high-tech society infused with a toxic strain that feeds on extreme violence. A gripping read that boldly and intelligently explores the vision of an ugly, amoral future. In this dystopian nightmare, privacy is non-existent, life is cheap, killers have fan clubs, while the only individuals who count for something are those with money. Milla's crusade has a biblical quality in which she is elevated as a force of hope against the corporate anti-Christ of the Body Holiday Foundation."

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
