'I wish I learned that in high school' often feels like the rallying cry of the millennial generation. It's a non-judgmental, inclusive guidebook for women, men, same-sex couples, prospective single parents, and gender-nonconforming people who want to make an educated and informed decision regarding if and how they bring children into the world. It's full of the experiences of marginalised groups, with specific chapters addressing their unique needs.

As we expand our understanding of what "family" means, we need to change the way we think about having kids.
