Reviews
'Dr. Rawson.. gives an overview of ..various attempts [by practitioners to shorten therapy] and presents her own form of short-term psychotherapy. I would thoroughly recommend a close perusal of her book. If her thesis holds up in practice, many people who would otherwise have been incapacitated personally for long periods of time will be helped much more quickly to take up their personal responsibility for themselves and do so, moreover, at a tiny fraction of the cost.'- Thomas More Mann OFM Cap., M.A., PhL..'... it is certainly the most important survey of short-term therapy that exists and would be of immense value for those studying the subject...such a broad and deep study of the whole gamut of the subject.'- Rev. Louis Marteau, AAPSW
