Description

THE BRILLIANT NEW THRILLER FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE RICHARD & JUDY SEARCH FOR A BESTSELLER WINER AND NUMBER ONE BESTSELLER, SWEET LITTLE LIES.

'A crime fiction force to be reckoned with' Erin Kelly

'I loved it!' Ann Cleeves

Four victims.
Killer caught.
Case closed . . . Or is it?

Christopher Masters, known as 'The Roommate Killer', strangled three women over a two-week period in a London house in November 2012. Holly Kemp, his fourth victim, was never found.

Until now.

Her remains have been unearthed in a field in Cambridgeshire and DC Cat Kinsella and the Major Investigation Team are called in. But immediately there are questions surrounding the manner of her death. And with Masters now dead, no one to answer them.

Did someone get it wrong all those years ago? And if so, who killed Holly Kemp?

Just finished, and loved, Shed No Tears. Brilliantly written, cleverly plotted, great characters. Can't wait to see this fly! * B. A. Paris *
Shed No Tears is a joy to read with a strong, compelling storyline and a wonderful cast of brilliant characters. A triumph for Caz Frear * Rachel Abbott *
Wow, again. I love Cat Kinsella, and she just gets better. What's not to adore: a sassy, smart, ballsy main character and intricate, fascinating plots. Another absolute smash and one of my favourite protagonists! * Jo Spain *
Cat is a brilliant heroine, strong, shrewd and flawed, and she operates in a world that feels 100% authentic * Claire McGowan *
If you haven't discovered Caz Frear yet, you are in for a treat. She's fast becoming one of my favourite writers. Shed No Tears is magnificent * Fiona Cummins *
Caz Frear somehow combines a devilishly clever plot and amazing complex characters with a light touch that makes for a deeply satisfying read. Another Cat Kinsella winner * Cass Green *
Shed No Tears is gritty crime at its best. The police team dynamics, banter and relationships are superbly written. Caz Frear has created a flawed but likeable character in Cat Kinsella. I was rooting for her to solve everything, including her own demons . . . This book is definitely one to put on your must read list if you love a police procedural that moves like lightning. Grab it when you can! * Carla Kovach *
Raced through Shed No Tears. Another standout thriller from the phenomenal Caz Frear. Sharply written and expertly plotted, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Cannot wait for the next Cat Kinsella! * Chris Whitaker *
Once again Caz Frear gives us a brilliant crime puzzle to solve. With plenty of emotion, Cat Kinsella's trademark wit and an engaging plot to boot, crime fans need look no further for a great read * Olivia Kiernan *
This is a series I've loved since the very first book - main protagonist Cat Kinsella is so realistic and full of depth that I immediately engaged with her, that has continued through every subsequent instalment and Shed No Tears was no exception . . . another tip top fully immersive crime thriller from the pen of Caz Frear. Not many writers of this creative, talented level are out there so I highly recommend that you read these if you are a fan of all things crime fiction * Liz Loves Books *
Deft and economical plotting, excellent characterisation and easy and straightforward style . . . It is a cracker * The Bookbag *
Frear writes vividly about the uneasy relationship between her female cops and brings the novel to a startling conclusion. * The Sunday Times *
Kinsella's refreshing 'in your face' attitude, and her appetite for breaking the rules, add spice to this complex story. Told with poise, Frear never lets the suspense drop. * Daily Mail *
Gripping * Bella *
I adored this book. Seriously. I instantly fell in love with Cat. She is a damaged but brilliant woman . . . Frear is a wonderful writer and a fantastic storyteller. She took me on a thrilling ride that started on the first page and didn't let up until the last word. Stunning! * Emma the Little Book Worm *
Kept me guessing from start to finish. I have loved everything about this book, it has been a great read which I found impossible to put down. I have been completely pulled into this book. I love the author's writing style and have found this to be a good solid detective mystery book. A superb read by an extremely talented author * Little Miss Book Lover *
This book kept me rapt from start to finish and is quite possibly my favourite of the three . . . The story just drew me in, the mystery just enough to keep my interest piqued. There is a chilling back story in the Roommate Killer case, but also an underlying element of tension that bubbles along as the story progresses, something that tells you something isn't right but keeps you in suspense to the end. If you love the series, then you are going to love this book too * Jen Med's Book Reviews *
This is shaping up to be a must-read series for me as Caz Frear always leaves me wanting more at the end of her DC Cat Kinsella books . . . Caz Frear has continued to develop and improve her craft and has delivered a compelling and intelligent plot for the team here. I was happy that the standard of writing has remained high but also thoroughly entertaining at the same time. Very enjoyable! * My Chestnut Reading Tree *
Brilliant twists * Ramblingmads *
Tense, twisting and terrific * Lancashire Evening Post *
Frear spins a complex, clever web and as the past starts to collide messily with the present, the book gathers pace on all fronts ... a quality police procedural, with an engaging main character. * Crime Review *
If you enjoy watching tense crime dramas like ITV's Unforgotten, you'll love this latest book in Caz Frear's female-driven police procedural. * CultureFly *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
