Reviews
The questions are open and the register is well suited to the school pupils who will be answering them ... This is all excellent pedagogical practice. * Bryn Mawr Classical Review *
The carefully prepared vocabulary and notes can save the teacher a huge amount of time and for this reason the price is very good value. * Classics for All *
A useful and detailed general index closes the volume. In conclusion, Carter's Selections is a traditional textbook that may become a reliable and helpful tool for the intermediate Latin student to increase their fluency of the Latin language and their reading speed. * Latomus *
This book ... does constitute a mostly student-friendly edition of large parts of the first half of the Aeneid, and will surely find extensive use in schools and universities. * Journal of Classics Teaching *
