Description

"A plot to rob Santa? We'll see about that! I'll soon stop those villains!" thought Sammy the cat.

A fabulously festive tale about a sleepy cat who saves Christmas!

Sammy Claws, Santa's lovable, lazy cat, will sleep anywhere! Snoozing in a box on Christmas Eve, Sammy finds himself wrapped up as a Christmas parcel and bundled onto the sleigh with the other presents. How will Sammy escape? And how will he save the presents from two robbers with plans to steal them all away . . .?

Sammy Claws is a purrfect swag-bag of giggles, guaranteed to get little ones excited for Christmas! Paula Bowles' fresh, contemporary artwork is full of warmth, humour, and action-packed, festive scenes, and she has created a totally adorable (and unlikely) hero in cute cat Sammy Claws. This rhyming picture book is a wonderful Christmas gift for fans of the Shifty McGifty series and Mog's Christmas.

Lucy Rowland is a children's speech and language therapist has written many picture books including the highly successful Pirate Pete and His Smelly Feet and Little Red Reading Hood.

Every Nosy Crow paperback picture book comes with a free 'Stories Aloud' audio recording - just scan the QR code and listen along!

About the Author

Lucy Rowland (Author)
Lucy Rowland is a Children's Speech and Language Therapist and lives in the Gloucestershire countryside. With a real passion for language and lots of experience working with young children, Lucy was thrilled when she finally made the leap into picture book writing. When she's not daydreaming about story ideas, reading A. A. Milne or thinking up fun new rhymes, Lucy enjoys backpacking, baking and long walks on the beach. She is rather scared of spiders (and spider-related tricks!) but has now (bravely) done the highest bungee jump in the world!

Paula Bowles (Illustrator)
Paula grew up in Hertfordshire with a house full of animals. She has always loved drawing, reading and playing in her imagination, so she studied illustration at Falmouth College of Arts and became an illustrator. She now lives in Bristol, where she has worked as an illustrator for over 10 years.

As well as drawing, Paula likes getting out of the city for long walks and cycle trips in the fresh air (she once cycled from Bristol to Paris!), snuggling indoors with a good book, discovering new music, and dancing the Lindy Hop. Oh, and she also once learned to walk the tightrope!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
