Reviews
This small but perfectly-formed selection features verses including 'Muc, Muc, Muc', 'Two Cats of Kilkenny' and "Mary Mac, Mac, Mac, all dressed in black, black, black, silver buttons, buttons, buttons all down her back, back, back". Sing or chant and clap along to Michael Finnegan , who grew whiskers on his chin-egin ... the musicality of such rhythmic verse, whose repetition is one of the enduring joys of early childhood, its value on this occasion being increased by the fact that all royalties from the durable board book version are going to Barnardos
* Evening Echo *Parents and children alike will love Sally Go Round the Stars board book with its wonderful selection of Irish nursery rhymes, childhood street songs and Steve McCarthy's colourful pictures. A great book to read aloud
* Sunday Independent *will delight young children, parents, guardians and grandparents ... the colour palette reflects the nostalgia of the old rhymes, while the illustrations add to the humour of the text and bring the rhymes up to date and alive
