Description

Schools rugby star Eoin Madden has never been busier - he's captain of the Junior Cup team, he's training with Leinster and hoping to be chosen for the Ireland team for the first-ever Under 16 World Cup. But it's not all fun and games, as Eoin also has to deal with grumpy friends, teachers piling on the homework - AND a ghost on a mission that goes back to the very origins of the game of rugby. But what does the restless spirit need, and can Eoin help him?

Books, crooks and rucks - it's all to play for this term!

Reviews

in the absence of live matches this pair of fantasy rugby stories could plug the gap somewhat

the forefront of the market for a few years now and the latest offering confirms its place

I really like Gerard Siggins' books, he is a brilliant writer, just as good as JK Rowling ... I would really recommend this book, it was a great read and I really enjoyed it, I am looking forward to Ger Siggins next book now!

the fifth in this highly popular series about schools rugby

* Irish Mail on Sunday *

engrossing mix of schoolboy rugby tactics and match action with skulduggery and crime to a very satisfying finishing line

-- The Mail on Sunday

thrilling

-- Ireland's Own

skulduggery to make rugby fans' hearts skip a beat

-- Evening Echo

the power of Gerard's writing to get a distinctly non sporty person like myself enjoying what is a thriller filled tale is evident in this latest instalment in the rugby series ... it's going straight to my reread shelf!

-- Nayu's Reading Corner

thrilling rugby action plus ghosts plus mystery ... the latest in Gerard Siggins' Rugby Spirit series is typically filled with rugby action so vividly described that you feel you're there on the pitch ... the mix of on-pitch and off-pitch action with mystery and history is well handled and there's lots to appeal to all readers, but particularly young rugby fans

a cracking story that my 12 year old son rates as captivating!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
