Resilience Education looks at how young people who struggle with life's worst conditions somehow manage to overcome adversity . . . and through this close examination, the authors are able to identify the significant factors that contribute to these youths' amazing resilience.

Among the discoveries you'll find in this book:

  • Information and decision-making skills students need to make good decisions in the face of adversity

Brown, Marianne D'Emidio-Caston, and Bonnie Benard, offer a set of principles and practical applications for educators who work with youth, offering unique and powerful tools that can make a difference in young people's lives.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
