Description
A staggering 90 percent of the American workforce struggles with burnout. reKindle shows them how to bounce back and reclaim their lives.
Going beyond the immediate stressors, reKindle underscores burnout as a culmination of layered stresses, gradually leading individuals to a breaking point. Authored by a former entrepreneur, a lifelong healthcare worker, and a bridge engineer, each intimately familiar with burnout's toll, this valuable resource intertwines personal stories with evidence-based research.
Through the authors' shared experiences, those suffering from burnout are guided through their journey from crisis to recovery, offering a beacon of hope and practical strategies for transformation. The authors introduce the F.I.R.E. framework, a systematic approach that shepherds individuals from feeling Flamed Out to Investigating the root causes, then reKindling mind, body, and emotions, culminating in an Eruption into a renewed life of purpose and joy.

About the Author
Hailing from rural America, Brian Gattshall cultivated his work ethic and self-awareness while growing up on a farm in Kansas. Transitioning to the civil engineering industry, he earned a bachelor of science from the University of Colorado at Denver and became a professional engineer specializing in transportation structures. Amid his career, Brian faced severe burnout, prompting him and his wife, Michelle, to embark on a yearlong sabbatical for recovery and rediscovery of purpose. Recognizing that overcoming burnout is a journey, they've collaborated to develop a comprehensive approach to recovery and purpose renewal, driven by Brian's passion for helping individuals unlock their God-given talents and reclaim a fulfilling life. Michelle Gattshall's passion for fostering healthy living led her to complete her master's degree in public health at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. With over twenty-five years of healthcare experience in the Denver metro area, Michelle has expertise in the areas of population health, behavioral health research, clinical trials, and healthcare quality. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, she embraces a problem-solving mindset and excels in researching and navigating complex challenges. Outside of work, she is a lifelong learner, an avid reader, and an outdoor enthusiast who loves to explore nature's beauty. Michelle and her husband, Brian, are residents of Kansas but are currently full-time RVing. Emigrating from the former Soviet Union as a child, Masha Bobo embraced her aspiration of building her dream life in the land of the free and the home of the brave. After earning a bachelor of business administration from the University of Colorado at Denver, she became a resilient business owner, navigated the challenges of divorce, and embraced single motherhood. Leaping into the healthcare world while earning a master's in healthcare administration at Colorado State University, she faced the deathly tango of her third burnout that spun her into medical leave. The so-called American dream quickly turned into a nightmare during which she rediscovered her relationship with Jesus and embraced her purpose and passion of spreading awareness of burnout. Masha currently resides in Colorado.
