Description

'You want me to have full penetrative sex with your son, right? I just wanted to, you know, check.' Jack, a young man with a learning disability, lives at home, cared for by his devoted parents. Like most men in their twenties, he has needs - his mates at the rugby club talk about nothing but getting laid, whilst Jack's most erotic experience to date is the time he was winked at by the pretty cashier in Lloyds. Desperate for their son to not feel left out, his parents decide to bring in a professional. But the woman they hire has a far more profound impact on the whole family than they could ever have imagined. Written by up-and-coming writer Sarah Page, this text has been published to coincide with Kuleshov Theatre's 2017 production at Theatre503.

A darkly comic and moving tale, Punts tells the story of how the parents of Jack, a boy with learning difficulties, decide to intercede and hire a professional to take his virginity.

Reviews
As the play progresses, the tone's lightness fades and the sitcom set-ups disappear. The final third leaves you shuffling uncomfortably, never having expected the ending that came along. This is a serious and profound take on celebrity culture, the nature of heroes and how our media treats famous young women. * Everything Theatre on The Sweethearts *
The Sweethearts is an effortlessly immersive piece. Page has an exceptional gift for dialogue, and each character possesses a unique and intriguing voice - no simple task given that the eight characters share just two (all-consuming) professions... Indeed, as the audience sit just metres from the stage, you can taste the tension with every beat. * britishtheatre.com on The Sweethearts *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
