Written by a global team of leading Majority World scholars led by Michael S. Horton and Elizabeth W. Mburu, Prophet, Priest, and King approaches, explores, and articulates the topic of Christology and the Gospel, not only as central and essential tenets of the Christian faith but crucially as the global, catholic church.

Though there are many global treatments of Christology that focus on contextual expression, and many more written from a Western perspective, Prophet, Priest, and King deliberately and uniquely highlights a unified and singular testimony drawn from a variety of voices from the worldwide church. Thus, rather than attempting to articulate various contextual theologies and each of their distinctives, Prophet, Priest, and King explores and expresses the one, catholic, and apostolic Christian faith amongst various ecclesiological and global perspectives.

About the Author
Michael S. Horton (PhD) is the J. Gresham Machen Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics at Westminster Seminary California, founder and editor-in-chief of Sola Media, and host of the White Horse Inn, a weekly roundtable podcast on theology and culture. He is the author of more than thirty books, including Justification: Volumes 1 and 2 in Zondervan Academic's New Studies in Dogmatics and The Christian Faith: A Systematic Theology for Pilgrims on the Way. Elizabeth Mburu (PhD) is the Regional Coordinator of Langham Literature in Africa and an Associate Professor of New Testament and Greek at Africa International University, Kenya. She is the author of African Hermeneutics and the New Testament editor for the revised Africa Bible Commentary. Justin S. Holcomb (PhD) is the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida and teaches theology and apologetics at Reformed Theological Seminary. He is the author, coauthor, or editor of more than twenty books on theology, abuse, and biblical studies, including Know the Creeds and Councils, Know the Heretics, and Rid of My Disgrace.
