Halliwell has been researching the pubs of Preston for 10 years and currently runs a very successful website dedicated to more than 800 premises that have been active in the area. Stephen has been hosting illustrated talks on the history of pubs in Preston and writes a weekly column for the Lancashire Evening Post on the subject.
