His research interests include stabilization and durability of synthetic and natural polymeric materials., Teiji Tsuruta is director-general of the Research Institute for Biosciences, Science University of Tokyo, where his research centers on the investigation of various aspects of polymer synthesis., Naoyuki Koide is professor of chemistry at the Science University of Tokyo, where his research centers on the synthesis and characterization of liquid polymers.
