Description

"Everyone is constructing themselves. I'm just conscious of doing it. More than that, I'm a sculptor of it. I am a fucking artist." Finalist: Popcorn Writing Award 2021 Alex is a social success. Her Instagram boasts a montage of members-only rooftops, inexplicably sunny days and clinking glasses - like after like after like! When her father dies, Alex reluctantly joins a bereavement group. She shares a little, and then lies... a lot. And it feels good - like the 'likes', but live, and just like that, Alex is hooked. Please, Feel Free to Share by Rachel Causer is a dynamic, darkly comic, one-woman show about our personal addictions, the never-ending pursuit of 'likes' and our growing desire to share all. This play was developed by Scatterjam, a female-led production company that are committed to creating innovative shows that actively challenge commonly held preconceptions and celebrate the comedic potential of doing so. They are the makers of the Offie-Nominated play When It Happens.

A dynamic, darkly comic, one-woman show about our personal addictions, the never-ending pursuit of likes, and our growing desire to share all.

About the Author
Rachel Causer is a writer and performer based in London. She trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts before completing writing courses at Theatre 503, The Arcola and most recently, the Criterion Theatre's New Writing Group 2019. After completing this course, her play Jetsam received a professional showcase at the theatre and is now in development. She is the founder of Scatterjam Theatre Company, often working closely with a team of associate artists to create comedy-based and female-led work. Her debut play, Lippy, a semi-autobiographical multi-media show was programmed at Theatre N16 before a tour where it was one of three shows nominated for Best Newcomer at Brighton Fringe 2018. Following this, Rachel was selected to have short plays produced at The Bunker Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and Theatre 503 and her play Stalemate was selected for a rehearsed reading at The Pleasance Theatre as a part of Reading Week 2019.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
