Reviews
"By approaching race thinking across a broader range of contexts than is usual and by investigating it with an attention to historical specificity that is still regrettably rare, Philosophies Of Race And Ethnicity makes a unique contribution to the development of a transcultural approach to critical race theory."--Robert Bernasconi, The University of Memphis
"What binds these fascinating essays together is their focus on heretofore neglected aspects of race and the ways in which they broaden our understanding of this issue in many different contexts...The multidisciplinary approach exemplified by these authors provides sound modeling for future contributions to a topic that is likely to become increasingly salient with each passing day." -Geneva S. Reynaga, Janus Head * Blurb from reviewer *
