In the context of a happy life, a messy desk or a crowded wardrobe is a trivial problem - yet Gretchen Rubin found that getting control of our stuff makes us feel more in control of our lives.

Ask yourself: DO I NEED IT? DO I LOVE IT? DO I USE IT?

With 150 concrete clutter-clearing ideas, insights, strategies, and sometimes surprising tips, Gretchen tackles the key challenges of creating outer order by explaining how to 'make choices', 'create order', 'know yourself', 'cultivate useful habits' and, of course, how to 'add beauty'.

At home, at work, and in life, when we get our possessions under control, we can create a more serene environment. With a sense of fun, and a clear idea of what's realistic for most people, Gretchen suggests dozens of manageable steps to help us achieve the lives we yearn for.

Reviews
Gretchen Rubin is a type-A personality who doesn't eat sugar or carbs, who has bashed out biographies of Churchill and probably bakes gluten-free cupcakes in her sleep. In short, she is the kind of person I should hate, but her books are bestsellers for a reason: they are excellent distillations of small, practical changes we can make to feel more on track with our lives . . . I loved the question "Are you furnishing a fantasy?" - in other words, are you keeping hold of the treadmill in the hope that one day you will be the kind of person who runs on it? Er . . . * Telegraph *
Try a productive power hour, sort that clutter, find a place for everything and - honestly - you will feel like you can take on the world . . . or save it * Grazia *
Move over, Marie Kondo: America's foremost guru on happiness is coming for your tidy principles. * The Washington Post *
Wishing I had a Rubin to help me make sense of my belongings . . . I find myself inevitably inspired. * Red *
Declutter your way to happiness [with] self-help guru Gretchen Rubin * Good Housekeeping *
Every one of her recommendations is a gem . . . Even better, her explanations (and rationales, if necessary) are short, personal, humorous and occasionally pointed * Booklist *
Gretchen Rubin gets to the heart of a surprisingly simple - yet life-altering - fact. * Read It Forward *
Like getting a pep talk from an old friend who just wants you to finally get your shoe rack under control. * Mind Body Green *
Delivers a shot of peace before you even read a page . . . If you've been looking for a quick spark of inspiration to get going on improving your space - both inner and outer - this is the place to start. * The Epoch Times *
Trusted and insightful . . . it instantly resonated * Thrive Global *
Rubin has written a book for all of us - the neat ones, the controlled chaos ones, and anyone who shares a living space with someone whose approach to a pile of unopened mail differs wildly from their own. * Salon *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
