Description
Zara has spent her adult life being two different people. The good Muslim daughter, all set to marry the man her family approves of - and a free-spirited British millennial, who parties as hard as she works.
Over one dramatic weekend, the lies she's been telling to keep these two worlds apart begin to unravel and she is forced to confront her real identity.

Reviews
'A deeply tender drama about belonging... Danusia Samal's script gathers complexity and emotion as the piece progresses. It is a play about race and belonging, and a coming-of-age story of friendship and betrayal, of an eating disorder and, most movingly, of the love between mothers and daughters.'
* Guardian *'A compassionate, generous and well observed piece of writing that accurately captures all the small tug-of-wars that occur over religion, language and food... all of the characters are permitted depth and nuance, all of the relationships are shaded, no one is beyond redemption, and a sense of tenderness permeates the whole piece'
* The Stage *'Full of humour and warmth... an acutely observed script with emotional heft'
