About the Author
JAMES CARTER is an award-winning poet, non-fiction writer and ambassador for National Poetry Day. James travels all over the UK with his melodica (that's Steve) to give lively performances and workshops. In the last twenty years he has visited over 1400 schools, and performed at various prestigious literary festivals. His book The Forest was a New York Time's Best Illustrated book of 2018, as was his book Jemmy Button in 2013. His latest book Hundred is nominated for the German Children's Literature Award. Valerio lives and works in Porto, Portugal.
