About the Author
Neil has over 25 years experience in the advertising industry as a copywriter and art director, creating hundreds of funny TV ads. Neil has always had a keen interest in writing and drawing funny kids' books and cartoons. He uses his insightful advertising communication skills to connect with parents and children alike. All his 'Ollie And Nina And' stories are based on insightful truths with a teeny bit of artistic license thrown in for added humorous effect. Neil likes to observe the silly doggie things Ollie and Nina do, and uses that as inspiration to create his hilarious cartoon strips.

A really inspired book, beautifully presented in cartoon form, about two real life dogs .The stories are based on the adventures these two dogs get up to, however are shown as a comic strip which is truly brilliants. Absolutely love the animation and each of the stories!Delightfully written and oh so very funny. Each cartoon section is described beforehand and illustrated in full colour. This soft back of 80 pages concerns two crossbreed rescue dogs. Ollie is a Collie/Saluki cross and Nina a Whippet/Saluki cross, re-homed at different times, in fact Nina was rescued from kennels in Kuala Lumpur when the author was living in Asia and Ollie was "found online" where he was looking for a "forever home.' In his introduction the author explains that Ollie is all heart, silly, spontaneous and loving. He is always busy, nosing around and looking for adventures. He loves other dogs and will play with them until they are all played out. Nina he describes as thoughtful, wise and gentle. She likes other dogs, especially small ones, but she is very wary of small children. The author then goes on to say that "you never really know what's happened to reduce dogs in their past, do you?" Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
