Reviews

"...a concise review of nutrition support in critical care. In an ever-changing field, the authors have captured the most up-to-date information in a useable form."
-Carol Ireton-Jones, Ph.D., RD,LD, CNSD, FACN, Nutrition in Clinical Practice, October 2006

"...serves as a valuable reference tool. ...These chapters are not only authored by leading clinicians practicing in the field, but begin with a convenient outline and location of what topics are covered to direct the reader to the supporting materials when time is well-supported with current references that the reader can acquire for added detail and understanding. ...One of the most distinguished features of this text is its hand-on, practical approach. Aside from educating the read with more than just the nut-and-bolts, this book provides a wide variety of tables, figures, and pictorials to convey vital information. ...Further, to increase the practical applications of the book, several case studies are presented. ...This book is highly recommended for beginning and intermediate nutrition support clinicians to enhance the clinical skill and knowledge necessary to assess and implement supportive care in the critically ill. It also serves as a valuable reference for the advanced practitioner to keep on hand for quick review."
-Journal of the American Dietetic Association, Vol. 106, No. 1, January 2006

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
