About the Author

Teresa Yang. DDS, has practiced dentistry for over 30 years. Over the years, she has taught clinical dentistry and patient management at UCLA School of Dentistry.Dr. Yang is a member of the Forbes Health Advisory Board. She is also a member of the UCLA School of Dentistry Board of Counselors. She has served as a Trustee at the California Dental Association (CDA), as a member of the CDA Foundation Board, and past Chair of the CDA Peer Review Council. Dr. Yang has lectured widely on conflict resolution and peer review. She is the 2021 recipient of the Carl Lundgren award from the Western Los Angeles Dental Society. Her articles have appeared in the California Dental Association Journal, DrBicuspid.com where she is a contributing writer, and WestViews, a publication of the West Los Angeles Dental Society where she serves as Editor. Her general interest pieces have been published at HerStry, Mutha Magazine, The Writing Disorder, Potato Soup Journal, and Adelaide Literary Magazine.
