Description

Everyone knows that chameleons are the best at fitting in. But not Leon. Leon is neon! In fact, he's SO bright that he keeps all the other chameleons awake at night. But poor Leon is lonely, so he goes off in search of somewhere he can blend in.

In this delightful interactive book, filled with vibrant neon artwork, children can help Leon on his journey by counting his steps, sending him to sleep and giving him lots of reassurance when he's feeling down. But will he ever find a place he can fit in...?

"Joyously written and illustrated" - New Statesman

Help Leon find the perfect match in this bright and brilliant interactive picture book!

About the Author
Jane Clarke (Author)
Jane Clarke is the author of over 80 books for young children, including the award-winning Gilbert the Great series and Stuck in the Mud. She's also a children's poet, so she's thrilled to bits to have three rhyming picture books with Nosy Crow (Who Woke the Baby, Old MacDonald's Things That Go, and I Saw Anaconda). Jane enjoys visiting nurseries and primary schools, and loves animals, country walks, fossil hunts, meeting up with her sons and their families in the UK and USA, and having fun with her granddaughters.

Britta Teckentrup (Illustrator)
Britta Teckentrup grew up in a town called Wuppertal. She moved to London in 1988 to study illustration and fine art at St Martin's College and the Royal College of Art and ended up staying in England for 17 years. Britta has created over 40 books, translated into 20 different languages. Britta's illustrations have appeared in magazines, on homewares, clothes and packaging. Britta now lives and works in Berlin with her artist husband, son Vincent, and their cat.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
