Description

This timely book takes an original transnational approach to the theme of Nazism and neo-Nazism in film, media, and popular culture, with examples drawn from mainland Europe, the UK, North and Latin America, Asia, and beyond. This approach fits with the established dominance of global multimedia formats, and will be useful for students, scholars, and researchers in all forms of film and media. Along with the essential need to examine current trends in Nazism and neo-Nazism in contemporary media globally, what makes this book even more necessary is that it engages with debates that go to the very heart of our understanding of knowledge: history, memory, meaning, and truth.

About the Author
Jason Lee is Professor of Film, Media and Culture at De Montfort University, Leicester. He is the author/editor of over 20 books with work translated into 16 languages.

Reviews
"Jason Lee presents an extremely timely contribution to media studies and offers important reflections on the relationship between media and politics in times of Brexit and Donald Trump. The book will be enjoyed by media scholars from the US and the UK or anyone who has been following American or British media coverage of the countries' political landscape over the past few years." - Marina Durnin, University College Cork, Aigne, Volume 7. "Lee's work raises thought-provoking points for ongoing discussions on the acceptability and spread of the far right in modern society, and how this affects our humanity." - Phil Wintle, Open Screens, 2018

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
