Description
Grandmother's Garden is tangled with weeds, "Wildflowers, says grandma, food for the bees."
A little girl visits her grandmother in summer and winter, and together they explore the wonders of Grandmother's garden.
One day, Grandmother isn't there anymore, but as winter gives way to spring, the girl learns that life goes on and so does the memory of those we love.
A lyrical, stunningly illustrated book about family, love and loss.

Jessica Courtney-Tickle (Illustrator)
Jessica Courtney-Tickle is an illustrator who graduated from Kingston University in July 2014. She currently lives in Cambridgeshire surrounded by trees and lots of local wildlife. Coincidentally her absolute favourite thing to draw or paint is nature, finding a focus on foliage of any kind as well as children's stories about adventure and exploration. She also has a penchant for drawing the theatre from music makers to dancers and even singing animals.
Jessica is most influenced by vintage picture books, travel posters and folk art as well as numerous painters and printmakers. She uses a mixture of handpainted backgrounds and digital effects to give her work a heavily textured and decorative appeal that sparks with magic!
